Estate, Philanthropy, and Legacy

The simple coordination of an estate plan begins with legal documents such as a will, trust, and power of attorney forms. Although estate planning does not need to end there, we then explore if philanthropic planning or multi-generational legacy planning can have a positive and important outcome in a financial plan. There is beauty in simplicity in how meaningful conversations can lead to strategies one may never have known, considered, or quite frankly thought it was for the ultra-wealthy. In reality, it can simply be a holding of highly appreciated stock, or finding deductions to reduce Roth IRA conversions can lead to these same strategies.
